What is a Horoscope?

Horoscope is a chart flow that is made at the time of the birth of the native. It shows a chart with the position of 7 planets and two reference points, Rahu and Ketu. It is done to calculate the native’s life events and to predict future.

A well-learned Vedic astrologer can interpret the past, present, and future of the person. To know it, the astrologer has to make the evaluation of the planets, zodiac signs, and the nakshatra that is the birth star and their placement in different houses. It is all done at the time of birth. To prepare the chart, one needs to have the exact date of birth, time for birth and place of birth.
The main elements that make a horoscope a readable chart are zodiac signs, planets, and houses. There are in total 12 Zodiac signs, 8 planets and 12 houses in a horoscope.

Each house represents a certain aspect and area of life. The top five houses represent the following
1st House
It symbolizes the self of the person, its leadership qualities and appearance.
2nd House
It is related to all the matters that deal with the material and physical environment.
3rd House
It represents the native’s relationship with siblings, neighborhoods, and his traveling experiences.
4th House
It represents domestic life, property, and happiness of the person.
5th House
It symbolizes the native’s home, privacy, basic security, and parent’s connection.
A horoscope reader can predict the native’s fears, weakness, strength, health, wealth and his life events by reading its horoscope.
